By decreasing and making new stitches in different places, you can create subtle curved lines in your lacy knitting.

Pattern repeat: 9 stitches

Row 1: : Knit all stitches.

Row 2 and all even rows: Purl all stitches, including yon loops.

Row 3: * K2tog, K2, yon, K1, yon, K2, K2tog tbl *, repeat * to * to end.

Row 5: * K1, K2tog, yon, K3, yon, K2tog tbl, K1 *, repeat * to * to end.

Repeat these 6 rows until you have the required length of fabric.

Pattern repeat: 8 stitches + 1 extra

Row 1: * K1, yon, K2, slip 1, K2tog, psso, K2, yon *, repeat * to * to last stitch, K1.

Row 2 and all even rows: Purl all stitches, including yon loops.

Row 3: * K2, yon, K1, slip 1, K2tog, psso, K1, yon, K1 *, repeat * to * to last stitch, K1.
